A custom made hat similar to the hat worn by Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in the new Alice in Wonderland Movie.
Similar, but also different and unique, The Alice Madhatter is a 19th century topper covered with black lace.
The lace is multi layered with a different patterned piece underneath the exterior lace with a delicate floral pattern. 4 hat pins adorn the side, in colors that match the deep purple of the feathers, and the muted green tones of the long draping scarf. The price sign that has always been evident on every version of the Mad Hatter's hat, is an original needlepoint. Oh when a hat like this would only cost 10 Pence/ 6 Shillings!
6" Crown that gently tapers outward.
2" Brim, with grosgrain ribbon bound edge curls up.
1 1/2" wide grosgrain ribbon hatband ending in bow.
Made of: 100% Wool.
Leather sweatband.
