Due to the handmade nature of the Pith Helmets, please be advised that there may be some minor imperfections in the construction of the hat. These imperfections should not hinder the look or the wear of the helmet.

This is the biggest pith helmet that we offer. The style is reminiscent of a classic fireman's helmet. The helmet was named after M/Gen. Sir Garnet Wolseley, who developed the original pattern. We have seen many variations on the name...Wolsey, Wolesley, etc., but the correct spelling is Wolseley.

The pith helmets can be immersed in water, whereby the wearer stays cool during use on hot summer days. Please submerge the outside of the helmet carefully, without allowing water to spill into the interior of the helmet.

Size: Adjustable by means of Velcro at the end of the leather sweatband.
