Back in days before a bucket hat was hip street wear, we used to call a bucket hat a "beer drinking hat" or a "beer drinking, fishing hat". We felt a calling to take this classic shape, yet in new school cotton pigment-dyed fabric and simply embroider one 4-letter word on the crown. The hat resonates (in a zen kind of way).
