New York City based Block Headwear was launched in May of 2000 and aims to provide a fresh and relaxed range of simple, quality headwear for men. Founder Ciomi McCabe was born in Havana, Cuba and grew up in the hat business. She worked for Kangol for 15 years; this tenure provided the foundation and experience for her foray into entrepreneurship resulting in Block.
