The Bollman Flapper Hat is a short brimmed cloche that was made popular by women in the Roaring Twenties, also known as the Jazz Age. Women with a growing sense of independence were known to don a cloche. 

A definite change from the sweet, flowery styles that dominated headwear fashion in the previous decades, the cloche is a confident style that hugs the face.
