To commemorate the 150 year anniversary of Borsalino (est. 1857), they have created the limited edition Virgilio Dorse' Fedora. Only 1857 hats made, all hats have been numbered.
Inspired by the Latin poet, Virgilio, the clean and simple shape of the Virgilio represents his belief in the pleasure of a simple but refined life. A luxurious blend of silk and lapin fur felt has been given a particular finish called the "Dorse", resulting in an extremely soft and smooth texture. The 4 1/2" high shapeable open crown can become a center dent or center pinch, it's all up to you. The hat is unlined to keep it as light as possible. Dark grey grosgrain ribbon hat band and elastic surrounds the crown. The 2 1/4" wide brim has a dark grey grosgrain ribbon binding. Leather sweatband. Decorative grey hat box accompanies each hat.
