This pith helmet is designed to be an historically accurate replica of that worn by the 24th RoF in the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. It is a real pith helmet, made one hat at a time. Thanks to the reenactor groups who have helped with this design. These "Living History Units" have added that the Pith Helmet is also known as the U.S. M1881 Summer Helmet.
The crown is 7 1/2 inches high. Front brim is 3 inches and the back brim is 3 1/2 inches. Both sides measure 2 inches in length.
Color: White.
Size: Adjustable by means of a velcro ending on the interior sweatband.
Due to the handmade nature of the Pith Helmets, please be advised that there may be some minor imperfections in the construction of the hat. These imperfections should not hinder the look or the wear of the helmet.
