The Helen Kaminski Newport is constructed of top quality raffia finely braided by hand into long lengths called tress. The tress are sewn together in extremely close rows and shaped by hand at the same time; this process results in a versatile body.

The 4 1/2" wide brim can be turned down for sun protection, or privacy.

The raffia string size adjuster around the 4" high crown can be used to size the hat down for a comfortable fit.
