Henschel Hat Company of Saint Louis, MO (USA) has been creating and manufacturing hats and caps since 1947. At first, Henschel's niche was the leather hat business, but to their credit they have expanded to other materials and are recognized as leaders in the cut-and-sew hat manufacturing industry also. The Village Hat Shop and Henschel have had a very strong customer-vendor relationship for almost 20 years. The Village Hat Shop was awarded Henschel's first "HAT RETAILER OF THE YEAR" award in 1987 and was again honored in 1991 as the first retailer to receive this award a second time.
