The HAT JACK Hat Stretcher is made from genuine wood and is hand crafted in the U.S.A. This product protects your hat investment by maintaining the hat's size by preventing shrinkage. The HAT JACK absorbs moisture and preserves the leather sweatband. It is great for both felt and straw hats. Never wear a pinching hat again. Instructions for use are enclosed including use for increasing the size of your hat. Threee sizes are Small-Child to 7 1/8, Medium-7 1/8 through 7 1/2 and Large-7 1/2 and up.

screw it firmly until it is quite snug. When your teakettle is whistling loudly, steam around the inside edge of the brim right where the hatband goes. Steam a minute or two, and then give another turn to the screw that stretches the two half-moon wood blocks. Steam again, screw again. After ten minutes, my hat was a size-and-a-half larger. Wow! I left it to dry and cool for a couple of hours and it fits perfectly now. This hat is a 5X fur felt top-quality hat. It was 7 3/4 and too small, and the maker didn't make it any larger. And it was a gift, so I "had" to wear it. Now it fits perfectly. I am so happy! It is a pleasure to find an item that is so simple to use and that works exactly as advertised if not even better.
