Here is the classic Derby, also known as a Bowler, in a 100% fur felt quality. This iconic hat (see the "Hats in Art History" and "Iconic Hats" links in the left column of this site for more on the history of The Bowler) is fully lined, has a genuine leather sweatband, a traditional black grosgrain trim that is finished with a bow at the side. This hat is a classic and still in fashion, as seen on Mario Van Peebles and his father, the original Badass Melvin Van Peebles at the 2005 Academy Awards. The round crown is 4 1/2" high and the grosgrain ribbon trimmed brim is 2 3/8" wide in the front and back; the sides are 2 3/4" wide. Removable side feather.
