I love this hat. It fits well and is great for warm weather. It doesn't look like a man's hat when worn by a woman. I had to have surgery recently and... more...

Oh yes, we've done it. We've brought back one of the long lost classics in the annals of hat history – Jaxon Hats is reintroducing the Seersucker Trilby to America and we couldn't be more excited about it.
This beauty takes me back to my lost and wasted youth in 70's New Orleans. It seems like yesterday, I was sucking back a Jameson's in Napoleon House on a wet and hot weekday afternoon with some old friends. I had ducked out of work for a quick nip which was par for the course in those carefree days, when what appeared to be a dapper young Tom Wolfe strolled past and sat down in the booth next to ours. He was sipping on what I could only guess was mint julep. On his head was the best looking seersucker trilby I had ever seen. He began to casually scribble in his notebook. For the next few hours, friends showed up and others left. Nothing concrete was accomplished beyond the slow hazy glory of the perfect buzz. Although, I believe we did determined there and then that Exile on Main Street was the finest album ever recorded. And that we would head on down to Tipitinas that evening. "Tom" never left his seat, never took off his hat and continued to order three or four more rounds as the day wore on. He wrote then drank. Then wrote then drank. When we left, he was till sitting there, staring off into the middle distance of a rainy New Orleans street. And it is to that distant bittersweet memory this hat pays homage.
The Jaxon version has a 1 3/4" brim and 4" crown. It's 100% cotton with a satin lining.
