The Red Hat Society, if you don't already know, is a grass roots organization that is taking the United States and Canada by storm.
The Red Hat Society gets its name from a woman who dared to wear a "funky" Red Hat and a Purple Dress in public after reading a poem entitled "Warning" which celebrates the aging process.
The only requirement to be a member of the Red Hat Society is that you wear a Purple Dress and a Red Hat when you and your fellow Red Hatters go out.
Our Sacramento store manager, Viki, is a member of a local Sacramento chapter of the Red Hat Society. Of course, anyone interested in buying a red hat is invited to shop and buy (no membership required). ALTHOUGH WE HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED BY RED HATTERS TO ORGANIZE OUR RED HATS AS YOU SEE THEM HERE, PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT THE RED HAT SOCIETY. Have fun ladies!
