I was relieved to find a more hipster hat manufacturer making a good quality straw without some obnoxious logo on it at a really reasonable price. I was looking at stuff that cost twice as much from more "classic" fedora manufacturers, but this hat had the cut and color I was looking for and it was on sale for $40! It is very traditional and understated, not like so many of the cotton pin stripe style junk hats you see kids wearing.
I did pull the lining out the very fist day, since I bought my hat to be a summer straw and not just a fashion statement and in the upper 90's in LA my head needs all the circulation it can get! With that, I am very happy with this purchase.
Thanks to the girls at the Village Hat shop in Long Beach for ordering this and steaming one of my fur felts for free while I shopped!
