It's four days later, the hat just arrived, and it is beautiful. For weeks I've been shopping for a stylish trachten-style hat for Oktoberfest. Most are either too traditional or too dressy, and with no plans to wear lederhosen, I needed something authentic yet versatile. This hat is all of that and more. Not only will it fit in with beer-drinking, chicken-dancing folks under the Paulener tent, it is stylish enough to be worn around town and hearty enough to function as an actual hiking and climbing hat.
I have a second Stitch hat coming in a couple of weeks, and something tells me it won't be my last.
