Love the color (much darker than pictured, some people momentarily think it's black) and the medium height band, but it's a much stiffer hat them the Whippet. I don't know if it's the stiffer brim or the difference in sweatband, but the hat is uncomfortable even though it's the correct size. Even the Royal grade Stratoliner is more comfortable. My guess is that Stetson makes the unbound brims of a stiffer material, and this will put more pressure at some points around your head. I hope this softens up with wear; otherwise it won't be a keeper in spite of the great color. Good service by VHS, but arrived without the pictured feather and with a Stetson box that was hand relabeled as to size and color with a black marker.
