The Alessandro is a rugged hat. It keeps its shape even when wet. When I have traveled with it packed in luggage and is a bit bent all it takes is a bit of steam from the hotel iron and and some shaping it looks like brand new. It is a bit cooler since it does not have a liner which I do enjoy.
