However, for the summer, it will be a well used hat. It is light, well ventilated, and comfortable on the head.
It will probably last only one season, as there is cardboard under the cloth sweatband to anchor the ribbon. This will most likely be ruined by summer sweat.
If I had seen this hat at a street fair for half the price here, I'd have to think about whether it would be worth the money. $40 is way out of line for a hat of this (lack of) quality.
