While I liked the cotton lining in concept, the execution wasn't anything I could see lasting much longer than a season of occasional use. The piping along the bottom was something I thought I'd like, but it tended to flare out unless I tightened it too much for my tastes.
I didn't really like the double grommets, either.
All in all, I'd say support domestic production and somewhat better quality, and go with the N. American Mil Beret. That's what I did. I think you too will be happier when the cows come home.
