As good as it was, my old hat had a broken band that nobody would fix (I tried several alteration shops). It was floppy and -- but tell the truth -- a bit irritating.
So this new, American made Jaxon Tyrolean is a fine hat at a fair price. I've had it a short time and worn it a lot. It keeps my head warm and dry.
Losing an old hat and getting a new one is like losing an old dog and getting a puppy. She's not the same, but we're friends. We're getting to know each other, and we're growing closer with time.
