The hat's versatile, comfortable, and I've liked the chinstrap: gets a little windy out on the lands sometimes... While it's not the traditional felt or straw from my childhood in west Texas, dang good hat.
By the way: Tilley STANDS behind their guarantee if you need it. My first had a problem, and they had no problem with replacing it. Generally, though, they're EXCELLENT. The oldest hat I own, and still the fave.
