| I've been hiking in the Sierras for a long time now, and have had a number of hats. At high altitudes (10,000 feet plus) you can burn quick, and changeable storms can sweep in quickly. It keeps my head dry in the rain, cool and shaded in the sun, and warm in the cold. I can roll it up in a pinch if needed and it pops back out. I've had hats that were just as functional, but they never looked as good as the Panther. Added a black version to go along with my old hiking standard of Moss Green. | ||||
