I use mine for paddling adventure, and it's been used heavily for the last 4 years. I took the band out altogether, and use a bandanna for fit adjustment and sweat absorption.
I am ordering my second. For the price and the abuse it's been subjected to, this helmet has held up quite well.
My used helmet is now worthy of a trophy shelf.
