The wool material used is approximately half as thick as the older one I have, so thin as a matter of fact that you can see through it! Very low grade, the rest of the cap is the same but this is a deal breaker.
That said, I do understand the difficulty the manufacturer must find itself in now with the Greek economy and I must assume any ability to fund production comes from sales, not loans.
I did keep the hat because I understand the situation and want to keep this Greek company alive, however if I had seen this in person I definitely would have passed on the purchase.
