the brim is a little smaller than the frist shady Brady I had. but the style is close to the same. thanks for taken the time and emails to help me fine this one. it just finished its frist week out on the road and looks like it will work. thanks bunches. nice to fine yall. |

i wore this hat in lake titicaca, peru, where the sun is more intense than anywhere. it kept my head cool and my face shaded in the sun and provided a little warmth and protection from the intense evening winds as well. great all around hat. |

| Just back from a sailing trip off the coast of Venezuela. The hat kept my head cool and face shaded, while looking great! The only unfortunate part is that it took a swim....and now has a rumpled look. Wondering how to get it back into shape, and stiffen it a little? Thanks...will be sailing again soon and the hat is my number one accessory. | ||||

| I bought this hat for my wife, she wears it when doing ranch duties & riding horse etc. Works perfectly for her in the hot sun & still looks good after a long day in the saddle. Stays on her head in our strong winds too. We'll be getting another Shady Brady soon. Village Hatshop was fast in getting it to us, thnks. | ||||

| I am giving 4 not 5 stars: the hat is beautiful, color in photo does not do it justice, lace is nicer than in the photo too. Fits just fine, nice weight, etc. However - someone put what looks like Elmer's Glue into the inside front crease (I hope this was done by the company which made it), probably to keep it' s shape and/or from cracking (problem I've had with other straw hats), and it had oozed on top of the hat. I didn't want to send it back for another (time?) so I had to carefully cut off the dried glue gobs with manicure scissors. I've never seen this on my other Shady Brady's. | ||||
