| This is a quality hat and it is a favorite. The brim was not the shape I prefered so I simply immersed the brim in water for 10 seconds, shaped it and let it dry over night....it really was that easy. Great sun protection and breathe ability. I also liked the fact that it was signed inside by the maker. | ||||

| The ability to order by exact size was the main attraction when I ordered the hat - but once it arrived, its beauty, light weight, and wide brim became prime factors in making this my new favorite sun hat! Being hard to fit, and needing to be protected from the sun, I am constantly on the hunt for good-looking, comfortable straw hats. I regret to say I have several much more expensive hats that don't fit nearly as well, nor look as good, as the Espanola. One note: I had the same "brim issues" as some other reviewers, and without their notes, I would not have known how (or how easy) to shape the brim - I, too, used steam for a brief moment, shaped the brim to my liking, and let it dry. | ||||

| I wore it all day yesterday. The wide brim was great in protecting my face & neck from the Sun. I like that I was able to order by size instead of one-size-fits all. I bought some stretchy headbands to add to the hat so it would add some color. | ||||

I chose this hat because of the availability of larger sizes. I like the hat. The brim turned up a bit when I received it which was unattractive and impacted the sun protection. I used a steamer to bend it down a bit and now it looks fine and provides adequate sun protection. If you need drastic sun protection, choose something with a more turned-down brim. |

| I believe the hat was not sized accurately. It was too small. The hat was extremely stiff and the brim curved upwards- not as depicted in picture. I wasn't aware that I'd be expected to know how and be willing to bathe and steam it for shaping, as that detail wasn't explained in the description on the website. I ordered according to my head measurement- which I already knew, but repeated twice based on the video on the website. (I have since had my head measured by a professional in a fine hat store- and I was correct in my measurement). I would not buy here again. | ||||
