This was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a beautiful, feminine, simple but elegant piece reminiscent of the 1940's. My only worry was that the headband would be too tight and ache, as so many of them do after hours of wear. Well, I tested this one for a day (eight hours) and it was fine! Very happy about that. Quality appears fine. Only problem was that the fabric covering on the headband was tattered on one end. I should have sent it back for a replacement but I was able to glue it with fabric glue and it doesn't show under my hair anyhow. Nevertheless , NOTE TO VILLAGE HAT SHOP: Be more sedulous and thorough in your examining of your products before dispatching them. Wearing the piece as designed positioned the "cap" too far over on my face to be becoming, so I just adjusted it with one end of the headband down further behind the ear and pinned it with a bobby pin. I personally found there to be too many dots as seen from certain angles, so I removed some (an easy process; they are simply pipe cleaners wound around the netting). There is a grosgrain sweatband lining the interior circumference. I am very happy with this item and plan to purchase the same in ivory. Very pretty piece. |

| The product arrived in a timely manner and service was excellent. Unfortunately, the product was not what I expected. It was smaller (or my head is bigger) than I thought and I couldn't make it look right. I will shop here again if the need arisies. | ||||
