| I'm a tennis coach in the middle of the desert. This is by far the best hat I have come across in 7 years here. The only draw back to this hat is it can not be washed (well I haven't tried either). Every 4 months I happily purchase a new one. This hat is great for just hanging out at the pool or lake and it's great for active sports in the sun. | ||||

I love my hat and it serves the purpose for me. As I had cancer on my nose and surgery was not fun at all.I need to keep sun off the nose. It is really worth every penny, for the job it does. My visors and caps were not doing a good job of protecting my nose. I am fair skin and really need to be careful in the sun. I love doing my own yard work and this works great for me. And is very comfortable. |

| let me say that i am a gardener and fisherman in florida. i know A LOT about hats, and this one is AWFUL. OK, let me say that it's an attractive hat, and i loved it initially. but after about 2 months of wearing it, it has split along the seams in the front--the raffia stitching just broke, and now the hat has a big crack running around its middle. TWO MONTHS! my last hat lasted FIVE YEARS. do NOT BUY THIS HAT if you are serious about hats. i will NEVER EVER EVER order from the VHS again. their return policy is awful--'return unworn!!!' well, what if it's a bad hat? | ||||

| I live at altitude where the UV's can get your attention sometimes. This hat is the answer. I actually just purchased a second one as a back up, even though mine has two years of use without showing it. The fit is great and the strap is useful for the occasional mountain breeze. I love this hat! (. . . and no pre-skin cancer last check-up. See it really is a lifeguard hat.) | ||||
