Not a hot weather hat (4/5) Dec 28, 2007 Nancy Rood Lincoln Vt US
This is a great looking hat and pretty well constructed. If you want a hat for hot weather this is not the one. The weave is so tight that it doesn't breathe. The reinforcement backing in the pinched peak is coming off. I'm sure I can glue it back in. I believe this is from the condensation from it's inability to breathe. It's a good hat...just not for real hot weather. A keeper!
Great Hat! (5/5) Dec 28, 2007 Robin Schaef Guys Mills Pe US
I just received another hat for my husband (his third). His first hat has lasted for five years and still uses it for working and gardening. It shows little wear and tear, has traveled many miles for trips to the islands and having rescued it (several times) from the ocean while on sailing trips. He wears no other hat when working (building trade) because the larger brim repells light rains and sunshine. He wears the natural color for evenings out, the tan color for early spring and late fall. These hats are not only durable, withstanding weather and UV rays, but he has had many compliments along the way for the stylish, sophistacated, classy look of the hat. He truly loves this hat!
Perfect! (5/5) Feb 9, 2008 C Hurrey Bullhead City AZ US
I was looking for a good Panama for my dad after the one I bought last Christmas lost all it's shape after a few rounds of golf. This hat is extremely well made and it looks great on. This hat is what a Panama should be. My dad says it's a great fit and has seen it on a few pro golfers while watching his weekend tourneys. This hat is made to last. It's perfect!
Cancer prevention (4/5) May 7, 2008 Steve Wilson Eden Ma US
After undergoing facial treatment for pre-cancerous lesions I was advised and agreed to use broad rimmed hats while playing golf. This was a classic look that fit the bill. Actually, it really cut down on glare that was an issue with the baseball type cap. High winds are the only issue with the hat, but they were always an issue no matter what hat I wore.
