| I have trouble finding a panama hat that fits. My head is about 22 3/4 for a hat size of 7 1/4. But usually size Large is too big and medium is too small. I've returned many hats bought on the internet. I saw that Village Hat Shop says these run small and to order up a size, so I was hoping that the large would fit. And it does - perfectly. I am very happy to have a new panama and this one is quite nice. I like the darker color of the straw (Dark Natural) and I like having a chin strap. The hat itself (the straw weave) is a little on the light side, as the description says, which I think will make for a cool, easy to wear hat this summer. I am happy to have finally found my hat in this Pantropic Explorer Fedora! | ||||

| excellent quality and workmanship, and looks great.my only reservation(as always), is sizing.it's always a problem for me, my head is 23inches, on the upper end of large,ordering "one size larger" as advised made it a little too large; however i cut a strip from an old white towel and put it behind the sweatband , and it now fits fine. a beautiful and classic looking product. | ||||
