| A very good Palm Leaf hat, indeed. It does all that Sunbody says it will do (get it wet, shape it, dry it, sit on it and it still remembers its shape). There are many other 'straw' hats out there that are far more expensive (and admittedly some a lot cheaper), but all come nowhere near the versatility of this one. I've worn it and sweated in it in the jungle, had ice forming on it on Kilimanjaro and been asked by Lock's of London where I got it from. A great buy. A word of advice, though: it doesn't shrink, so get exactly your size. The Village Hat service was also outstanding: I had this sent to Borneo and it arrived safely and on time. | ||||

| I own roughly 80 fitted baseball caps, size 7 7/8 or 8. I have NEVER been able to find a straw hat that measured up; only one came close. This hat came today and IT FIT! I got as excited as a 67 year old man can get. | ||||

| In the beginning I was a little skeptical about ordering a straw hat on line, but in the end the service was all that I could as for and the product is exactly what I wanted. The hat is well made and is sized correctly. I am very pleased. | ||||

| The hat fits nicely, shapes easily, and provides lots of protection from the sun - an added attraction for a balding guy! The price is excellent when compared to prices of similar hats in nicer department stores. I'm very pleased - and am pleased with The Village Hat Shop, too. Their personnel couldn't have been nicer nor more helpful! | ||||

| I live and work in the great outdoors of California's san Joaquin Valley. It was 107 the other day and that's fairly hot. My hat keep me shaded and cooler, without a doubt. The hat is a heavier weave and when I 1st received it I was worried. I have no doubts today. The hat is sturdy and well made and I LIKE IT! | ||||
