| Even my 10-year old niece can appreciate the style of this hat (hence her endearing comment), but you have to put it on to enjoy its soft comfort. I did perform a bit of remodeling of the brim in back to induce a little more "upness" (easily done with a clothes steamer and some stuff to hold it in shape as it dried), ala the typical fedora of any noir film. As shipped it was just a tad too flat and in my eyes that makes it Western or outdoor-ish. I have a Stetson for that and wanted the Bailey to have a more urban look, which it now has, to my satisfaction. | ||||

Had the black one for about a year now. It's all broken in, fits great, nothing bad to say. Bought the brownish, just like the black one, only I have to break it in. Really enjoy dealing with Village Hat, have recommended you to other hat wearers. If I had cards I'd pass them out. |

This is a good hat, but not as stylish as I thought. I expected the hat to have more of an angle on the top of the hat, angling down more at the front. It looks a little like a standard outback hat than a gangster hat (I'm an Aussie). I think I had this expectation from the angle the hat is pictured at on the site. The photo is takern from the hat's 'best angle'. It would be good if you had more photos of each hat from different angles (eg, side front top view). Still i'm happy with the hat. it is of good quality & reached me in good condition. Now i'll just have to order another gangster hat for my collection. I'm thinking the Jaxon Bogart is next. Hey you don't have Australia in your list of countries - what's with that. I put down UK. |

| I bought this hat for my husband for Christmas to replace his very old one. He looks great, and really likes it. We were nervous that the hat might be too small because his head measurement (23") was at the upper limit of size L, but it fits very nicely. snug but not too tight. Super! | ||||

| the bailey curtis is my first ever (proper) hat. up to this point i didn't think any hat beyond a ball cap looked good on my head. as i open the box it came in, i was filled with trepidation at trying it on. but as soon as it was on my head, i realized that this was the hat for me - it looked SO good/classy/cool. i have received many compliments from friends and strangers alike about it. i'd buy another in a heartbeat. | ||||

| Great hat!. Comfortable as can be. Maintains it's shape after being handled. Get's lots of compliments. Got it in brown (serpent), would also like to get a black. Size chart fit perfectly. Recieved quickly after order. Very pleased. | ||||
