| It makes him look so dashing! (5/5) | Jan 5, 2010 | Melissa | Richmond IN US | |
| I purchased this hat for my husband as a Christmas present and he absolutely loves it. He travels frequently for work to cold climates and appreciates the style, warmth, and crushability. I like that it makes him look like a 1930s film noire hero! Thanks! | ||||

| pleased with purchase (4/5) | Feb 18, 2012 | Montague | Nashville | |
| I don't follow fashion but rather am mindful of my individual style, and so searched for a fedora for its utility and looks. It needed to keep my head warm and dry, and had to look sharp. Based on perceived value, wearing/traveling convenience, and apparent customer service, the Bailey Curtis Packable Fedora Hat was ordered from Village Hat Shop. I am pleased with the purchase. It arrived on time and carefully packed. The hat complements my attire (usually a business suit and wool topcoat) and serves its purpose nicely. It's been two months, worn about a third of the time depending on the weather, and fits well and looks good. Recently I carefully collapsed and rolled it, and placed it in my coat pocket for about an hour. It kept its shape but got spotted with charcoal colored strands - somewhat noticeable against the black wool. A vacuum, hat brush, or lint roller may come in handy. The Bailey side pin droops a bit. I'd like to remove it but am afraid of damaging the band. Still, I consider it a good value, and am confident in my purchase decision. | ||||
| Better than expected (5/5) | Feb 5, 2008 | Ray Thomas | Montgomery Village MD | |
| Renewing the habit of real hat. I'd been know for ballcaps even with suits. Have only received positive comments and complements. Fit and comfort are great. I'm wearing the black, thinking of ordering the other color. | ||||

| I've had my hat for over a year now and will say it's my favorite. Have had nothing but complements. | ||||

Had the black one for about a year now. It's all broken in, fits great, nothing bad to say. Bought the brownish, just like the black one, only I have to break it in. Really enjoy dealing with Village Hat, have recommended you to other hat wearers. If I had cards I'd pass them out. |

| A good hat (3/5) | Mar 2, 2008 | Zahrn Heath | Melbourne Vi UK | |

This is a good hat, but not as stylish as I thought. I expected the hat to have more of an angle on the top of the hat, angling down more at the front. It looks a little like a standard outback hat than a gangster hat (I'm an Aussie). I think I had this expectation from the angle the hat is pictured at on the site. The photo is takern from the hat's 'best angle'. It would be good if you had more photos of each hat from different angles (eg, side front top view). Still i'm happy with the hat. it is of good quality & reached me in good condition. Now i'll just have to order another gangster hat for my collection. I'm thinking the Jaxon Bogart is next. Hey you don't have Australia in your list of countries - what's with that. I put down UK. |

I was not sure at first about this hat until my wife (who hats most hats) looked at it, and liked it. I like the quality so much I am going to order the Bailey Safari Fedora next. Frank |

| This Hat Does Double Duty (4/5) | Oct 14, 2008 | Jeff H | Manhattan NY US | |
| If you own just one fedora, the Bailey Curtis Packable Fedora is a great choice. It's classy (and classic) enough to wear with a suit or overcoat, and the low crown and sturdy felt give it a casual feel when worn with jeans and a jacket. I got mine in the "gravel" shade, which can be worn with a wide range of colors, from a blue suit to an olive raincoat to a black leather jacket. And at $45, it's a real bargain. | ||||
