| A few months ago I purchased a Bailey Briar Safari Fedora in black and love the fit, feel and style of the hat. I get many compliments when I am out but recently I had the occasion to give a lecture at Boston University and for some reason I received several comments on that day about the "good character" of my hat. While I don't think the hat necessarily makes the man, it was nice to trade a smile and a few quips with passing strangers who viewed me in a good light just from the impression made by my hat. Since I enjoy adding a postive lift to the day for myself and anyone else I happen to meet, I'm back to buy the same hat in brown this time--though I'd love to have a reason to buy it in green as well. Perhaps in the future...? | ||||

| My first hat in a long time. It fits well and looks good. Even though I live in a hot climate, I can still wear it to church and other events with no problems. | ||||

| I just received my Bailey Safari Fedora in the color, "mole". It was an excellent purchase. Fits like a glove. I am very pleased with this style and plan to order another one in a different color. | ||||

| Hat fits great. Ordered the Mole Color. The color is a little darker than I expected. The hat allows me to fold it up in my pocket when indoors. | ||||

| I took this hat to Europe and back packed in a suitcase. It sprang right back to its original shape when unpacked. I wore it during a drenching rainstorm. It kept my head dry and warm, retained its shape and size, and stayed on in moderately strong wind. All in all, it's a great hat that does everything it's advertised to do, and I think it looks good too. | ||||

| I have been wearing nothing but Tilley hats for several years now; although I don't think any hat will ever replace the my Tilley's the Briar is a very nice hat. I am glad I didn't read the reviews before I purchased the hat. I was hoping for a much lighter color than what the mole turned out to be but it has grown on me and I have worn it every day since I received it. | ||||

| I've had my eye on the Briar for a long time now. I finally just received my Loden Mix Briar fedora yesterday. It is a beautifully-made, rugged, sturdy hat and very comfortable. Not everyone has a green hat, and this being my favorite color, I wear it with pride. Based on other reviewers and my own experience though, I think all the hats displayed here are shown slightly ligher than the actual shades they come in. I personally love my hat as it came, but some previous customers sounded a tad disappointed when they bought the "Mole" hat, expecting it would be lighter. The Loden is the same case. It's more of a forest/olive color, so please take that into consideration when you buy any one of these Briar hats. I can't wait to get me another one. The Fall Brown is my next choice. I'm looking forward to submitting my picture of me in this hat to the Customer Gallery soon too. Might I add, the people here at VHS were extremely helpful in my purchase of this hat. I refuse to shop anywhere else as long as I can get what I want here. Thanks VillageHatShop! | ||||

| I loved this hat so much, I bought another. And here I am writing another review. I bought Fall Brown this time around and I couldn't be happier with the hat. It is a beautiful shade of brown (once again, ever so slightly darker than pictured, but I have no complaints about that). The hat is soft, yet sturdy. I cannot see this hat losing it's shape even if you drenched it. I'd buy the whole line at this point. You cannot go wrong with this hat. | ||||
