This is a really nice hat but it isn't at all the color that is depicted or named. The definition of "tawny" is a yellowish tan. I was expecting sort of a tan or camel color. The one I received says "Tawny" on the tag but it is more like a medium chocolate brown. I realize color varies in photos and monitors, but the picture clearly shows the felt color being significantly lighter than the hatband color. On mine, the felt is almost the same color as the hatband. The hatband color looks about the same as it does in the photo. I particularly wanted the lighter color to better show the interesting punch pattern on the sides. On the one I received, the pattern doesn't show nearly as well as in the photo. Fortunately the recipient won't know the color I was aiming for so maybe he will like it anyway. Last, not the fault of the hat, but I had selected this hat partly because I thought the punch pattern would create "vents" that might make it a tad cooler for the wearer, but I forgot to take into account the hat is fully lined, so it probably won't be any cooler. I'm taking off the one star for the color being wrong, otherwise I think this is a great looking and good quality hat. |

I have several hats from different manufacturers. When I saw this one I fell for it and am very pleased with it. It fit's like it should, as opposed to the others which are all too large. It LOOKS like I imagined all hats should look on my head. My wife likes it! I ordered the tawny and maybe I'm color blind but what arrived looks like the chocolate, but I like the hat so much that it doesn't matter. It's a keeper! |

| My wife bought me this hat, along with several others as gifts this holiday season. I just love the detailing and the fact that it is just a little different than any of the other hats I have or have seen. The combination of the narrow brim and lower crown are great and make it fit with a wide range of styles. | I bought this hat for my 26 year old son. He told me the only time he doesn't wear it is when he's sleeping. He was nervous about wearing a fedora at his age, but this one has a little different feel. The brim is a little narrower than a traditional fedora. It's made out of wool, but it's been treated somehow and is fairly sturdy. It's not flimsy like a lot of wool hats. Great hat for the money. Now I want one and I'm thinking of getting one for my dad. | ||||

| It's not like any of the other Fedoras that I currently own. It has its own Vibe and feel, really classy for the price Attention to detail is Very good, Its lite almost like a fur felt except its Wool. I bought the Cordova Brown one and really like the color. I bought this hat at the Shoreline Village Shop in Long Beach. | ||||
