The thin, unbound brim on this hat makes it very hard to shape and does not retain it's shape. Mine frequently leaves me looking more like Jed Clampett than Humphrey Bogart. For $185 that brim could certainly be bound with great advantage to the product. The felt is sumptuous and the hat is extremely comfortable, but the problem with the brim makes me regularly choose my Detroit model over it most of the time. |
