| A beautiful creamy-soft beaver felt. A joy to wear. About 15% lighter-weight than the more affordable (but equally striking) Borsalino Alessandria. I forget-sometimes that I'm wearing it (except for the many compliments I receive throughout the day). Oh yes, the hat! It's really-really nice! This Pure-Beaver Beauty comes in a "Regal"-hat box: Black with Gold embossing... I love to wear my chocolate brown hat with my Loro Piana car Coat or Paul & Shark Yachting Jacket. One of the true joys of life! If you want the ultimate Fedora this is it! No need to spend any more! This truly is the pinnacle of perfection in a hat. God Bless the Italians-still making these hats by hand! And thank you-Village Hat Shop for making it available-with your unparalleled customer service! Fits exactly true to size. | Super-fine fedora, no question about it, though if you compare it side-by-side with a vintage Borsa, they don't make 'em like they used to. For about the same money, you can still find those, or you can have a 100% beaver fur felt fedora custom made that is superior. But such hats require thinking, effort, and patience, and they won't have the Borsalino name on the side to flaunt. However, if you want a high quality fedora right now that impresses, this Borsa's the best off-the-shelf fedora you can buy, and no one can beat VHS' price. | ||||
