| My lifelong hat affair (5/5) | Jan 28, 2008 | Stan Wheatley | Woodland Hills Ca US | |
| Bought my first Borsalino homburg in Bari, Italy in 1948. More recently bought a brown Borsalino Alessandria in San Francisco and a dark grey Alessandra in Washington, D.C. I am now seeking a light grey Alessandria (USA 7 3/8) and will later be seeking a White Shantung Panama. | ||||

| I purchased this hat not too long ago and I love it already! I take everywhere i go. I took it up to the snow recently and got it covered in snow and it still looks great. I could not be happier with it. It is a very durable hat. I highly reccomend one | ||||
| Ultimate Felt Fedora "type" (5/5) | Mar 13, 2008 | Colin Stoltz | Jo'burg So VA | |

What a hat. Don't bother with anything else that resembles a felt fedora. This thing can be molded into about 8 different hats! About the only "other" felt you'll need is a Homburg. Terrific. Weighs nothing and very smooth to the touch. Got the black. Considering the grey. pity it'll make many of my others "shelf bound" |

I purchased a Borsalino Alessandro from the Village Hat Shop a couple of years ago and I am 100% satisfied with both. The Alessandro is a rugged hat. It keeps its shape even when wet. When I have traveled with it packed in luggage and is a bit bent all it takes is a bit of steam from the hotel iron and and some shaping it looks like brand new. It is a bit cooler since it does not have a liner which I do enjoy. Yes it looks fantastic too. |

| I first put on the Borsalino Alessandro a year ago when a friend brought one from overseas. I had to have one. I found it on line with the Village Hat Shop. Just buying it and having it shipped to Australia was an adventure and I have new pals at Village Hats. The Hat? Fabulous. Lovely to wear and it draws wonderful comment everywhere. It’s like a new phase in life. Women love wearing it too. Pure style. | ||||
