I bought the crushable wool version and this one. I found the cheaper version was not very good, so I reccomend you to buy the fur felt, if you want a good Indy hat. As I said for the wool felt review: This is a good hat The service is superbe and the shipping faster than light It's a good replica of Indy's fedora BUT While the wool felt version is too elastic and this makes it impossible to reshape the hat, this version is way too stiff, and this makes it difficult to reshape the hat, too. Yes, because the shape needs some modifications. The pinch should be tighter, and the brim is too flat. A note about the photo: the ribbon appears to be black (as it should be), but it is, in reality, a purplish brown! I hade some problems with the hat size. I have a 58 cm head, so I needed a Large Size. But, while the wool felt version fit very well, the fur felt one occurs to be a bit too large. Anyway, I solved the problem by inserting some linen stripes inside the sweatband. Final judgement: if I weren't a purist, I wouldn't have noticed all these details. So, if you are not searching the Grail, BUY THE HAT: IT'S WORTH IT. I may be fussbudgety, but...c'mon, for 100 bucks it is a great deal. |

| I purchased this particular hat for my husband for a Father's Day gift, and I am so happy that I did! My husband is gonna love it! The customer service I receieved was amazing for one thing, my purchase was shipped immediately and the hat itself is amazing. The quality of it is incredible and yes it looks so much like the hat Indiana Jones wears it's like I took it from Indiana's closet! Amazing! I would recommend this hat to anyone, for the price it is more than worth it, I usually have buyer's remorse, but with this hat I don't. | ||||

| I did a lot of research, this is the better hat for the money than the wool version. If you are looking for a costume, just get the wool. Otherwise, this is a very good hat. It is much more comfortable than my baseball caps. The only thing I'm worried about is if it will fade quickly. Hopefully not. It's a nice every day hat-so you don't have to spend $400 or more on a "real" hat. The way the guy at the hand-made hat shop put it was "this is the hat you wear in the field". The pin was a little bit of a pain to take off though. | ||||

| I have other cheaper hats, but have wanted a real Indy hat for years. No other Fedora has the attitude this one does. I wear it every day! The quality is excellent. The fit and feel is perfect. It is very reasonably priced and I feel it is worth a lot more. I am probably going to give my other hats away. I can't see me wearing one of them after wearing this hat. I am very happy I bought it. You will be too. | ||||

I wear a 7 1/8 and the Medium fit me well. The hat is not as stiff as another fur hat I got recently (in an "outback" style) made by Stetson. This one has more "give" to it, so it conforms to my head better and felt comfortable out of the box. The upper crown seems fairly stiff, so it should keep it's shape well. I may give it a higher rating later, but I just got it yesterday and need more time to see how it holds up. My wife loved the look. She wasn't taken by the more western style of other hats I have and liked the narrower brim on this one. |

| I purchased three Indiana Jones hats. And I will purchase a fourth for my brother-in-law as soon as he gets me his hat size. I like the hats; they fit well and look great. I get compliments on the hats. I also have a friend that like the hat and purchases one for her husband for Christmas; I know he will like it. I like wearing hats and caps and this style is really great. | ||||

| this is by far the most expensive hat I ever gotten. My mom got this for me early for xmas and it got her right on time I see alot of versions like this like cheap toy ones, but this is at real as it gets I love it it's by far my fav xmas gift so far and I will use this site again. | ||||

| I have had several compliments on my new "Indy" Fedora. It is very well made and should last me several years. I called customer support about how to customize my fit a little bit because it's fit was just a little too snug. I am somewhere between a large and x-large size. They suggested a hat stretched that worked perfectly. I love my fedora. It beats the funtion and aesthetics of a ball cap anywhere, anytime. Great folks at The Village Hat Shop! Thanks! | ||||

| This is a very comfortable fedora. It is durable yet plyable, does not lose shape. The fur felt is very soft and non abrasive. If you are looking for a great fedora, this one is it. | ||||
