| Indiana Jones™ - Crushable Wool (5/5) | Sep 26, 2008 | Traci N. | ||
| I Love the hat and found your company very easy to deal with! | ||||
| Nice hat (5/5) | Oct 17, 2009 | Anonymous | ||
| Bought this hat for myself for rainy cold days. We've been having alot of them this fall, so I have worn it quite a bit. The wool is thicnker than other "crushable" hats I've worn but the hat is very comfortable and is holding it's shape quite nicely. It does not look quite the color of the true Indiana Jones hat in te movies, but it's close enough for me. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. | ||||
| Some Issues (3/5) | Jan 8, 2010 | Alan | AZ US | |
|
The Hat seams serviceable; however, compared to the "Ford" model, the material is thinner overall and seems less sturdy. Additionally, it is less dense in some spots compared to others, which causes wrinkling. I had to steam out some wrinkled spots. Regarding style, I was disappointed that the crown is not as tall as the picture suggests - a main reason why I purchased the hat after ordering the "Ford" model (I wanted a crushable version of an old high-crown Stetson I lost). The hat has not been exposed to wet weather yet, so no comment about that. |

| variable felt thickness (3/5) | Jan 27, 2010 | anonymous | Ar US | |
|
The thickness of the felt was not consistent in the hat I received. There were dimples on the crown; however I was able to remove them with a steam application using my espresso machine. The crown is not as high as it appears in the pictures - and this was a key reason that I purchased this model over the "Ford" crushable. Also, the hat does come a bit large, but this is easily fixed with added cloth in the inner hat band. Service from Village Hats was great - timely and in good condition. Resists light rain well. Overall, a good value serviceable hat. |

| Hats Off to You! (5/5) | Jan 14, 2009 | Kelly Behm | Arden NC US | |
| I bought this hat for my husband for Christmas. He is absolutely thrilled with it. One of his favorite things about it is the crushability! Thank you for making such a fine product! | ||||
| A Nice Well Made Hat (5/5) | Nov 12, 2008 | Matt C. | Bristow VA US | |
| This is a nice, well made fedora that keeps its shape quite well while still being crushable. The hat fit great. I originally bought this for a Halloween costume and was not disappointed when it arrived. While not exactly the same type of fedora Indiana Jones wore, this one is close enough in look and style that anyone but a die hard fan wont be able to tell the difference. | ||||
| That's a good hat, but... (2/5) | Sep 11, 2008 | Luca Papale | Caserta CE IT | |

I'm almost sorry to write a 2 stars rewiew for this hat, but I have to say that this is not what I expected. Nevertheless, there are some positive things about it that I'd like to point out. First: THIS IS A GOOD HAT. Very nice style, comfortable, warm. Second: the service il SUPERBE. The hat arrived within a tenday, and Villagehatshop really has the best prices (the same hat is slightly more expensive in some others sites so, if you have to choose, choose Villagehat: it's more honest, IMHO) Third: anyway, this is a good Indy's fedora -seen from afar, and here come the negative part. In fact, if you analize it well, you will notice that the hat is not too similar to the original one. The color is too dark, a chocolate brown compared to the sable of the movie. The ribbon should be almost black: this one is a purplish brown. The crown is too low, the pinch is unexistent. The fact that the hat is made with packable wool makes it impossible to reshape the hat as you like (very elastic). So, here's my judgement: if you want a good fedora and you're not a fanatic, buy it. But if you want the real McCoy, you should look elsewhere. NOTE: I also bought the fur felt version. Nicer, but it still has some imperfections. |

| Perfect hat for Colorado (5/5) | Jan 12, 2008 | Rosie Wright | Cedaredge Co US | |
| Love this hat. I was looking for a hat I could give some individuality to. It has such a wonderful soft crown...so I'm able to push the creases out and create a dome shape, enabling me to pull the hat down low on my head. Perfect hat for staying warm and keeping the winter sunshine off your face....plus, it looks really sexy on a woman...lots compliments. | ||||
| Have this hat Also (5/5) | Dec 28, 2007 | Bill Hill | Deer Park Te US | |

I also have this Crushable Wool hat. It is cool. It has been wet, rolled up and comes back to normal. It is light and will be a everyday work hat. The fur will be a going out hat. Best hat i have owned. |

| Excellent hat (5/5) | Feb 9, 2009 | Stephen Hall | Dresden OH | |
| Very comfortable and dry. It looks good, and is very functional. The hat kept me dry while hiking in a snow shower, and I would recommend this hat to anyone who is in the market for a fedora. | ||||
