| Initially the brim appeared more curved than the example shown - so I didn't wear it as much in the first couple of months. However - once I did, people were asking "where did you get that hat." And they meant it in a positive way! This hat is well cushioned, solidly weatherproof, and comfortable. I later found the curve of the brim made it more aerodymamic - i.e. it doesn't blow off as easily as my two other hats from different sources. | ||||

| Absolutely timeless. Fits perfectly and looks great. Serves me well and accompanied me on my first ascent of Mt. Marcy. Highly recommend this hat to anyone who wants to look good and be shaded. | ||||

| Hat fit perfectly and was satisfactory for 12 months. Exterior began to turn rust color in first rain. Within 18 months exterior hat had turned red. I was told by VHS to expect this kind of performance. I will not shop here again. | ||||

| Since I had my hair cut (VERY short) it's been difficult finding a good hat. This one is just what I wanted- fits very well, looks great! Can't wait to wear it out and about. | ||||

| Since I purchased this hat I've had a chance to wear it out on a wet, cold morning and it passed the test with flying colors! I'd recommend it to anyone. Just wish they made it in a little lighter weight so I could wear one all summer... | ||||

| I had never been a hat wearer, but this is so stylish and comfortable -- I'm hooked. I had some care and sizing questions and called or e-mailed the Village Hat Shop a couple of times and found their customary service to be incredible -- very quick, friendly and responsive. | ||||

The hat fit perfectly, and appears to be of excellent quality. The customer service was truly outstanding, and I would definately suggest this particular hat to other prospective buyers, and absolutely recommend The Village Hat Shop to anyone and everyone.
