I own this hat in the caribou and consistently get compliments on it. I have people asking me where I buy my hats as it is hard to find good hats in Edmonton. It is both sturdy and comfortable. Love it. It is the hat I wear most often. |

| I love this lid! Wear this and be prepared for compliments. The hat gives you a great "old style" look. The construction is great and wears well. | ||||
| Classic (5/5) | Feb 17, 2008 | Carl Delo | Queens NY US | |
| I bought this hat after an extensive search for a medium brim hat with a medium height C-crown (it's 3-3/4" tall). There just aren't many nice hats with a crown under 4". The proportions are really nice, and the ribbon is not too wide, either. The felt is fairly thick but maleable, and the workmanship seems good. I bought the Sage color, which is several shades darker than shown. In bright sunlight it looks like a medium olive color, indoors it looks dark green, at night it looks like very dark gray - I consider this a plus, and it goes with a lot of my clothes including a brown raincoat and a charcoal overcoat. I'll probably buy the same hat in other colors, someday. | ||||

Got and used this hat for a multi week visit in Ireland. It did great in the wind and rain and sun. It would be dry enough overnight for the next days rain. Maybe too warm for Colorado summers [dry, sunny @ 85+F], but was great for Irish summer [damp, partly sunny @ 65F]. Should be great for fall and winter in CO. I've had a number compliments mainly from young people [likely under 25 years old]. |

| For months, I've been trying to find a fedora similar to the one my grandfather used to wear. I could not be more happy! Excellent fitting, great quality, and a look that pays tribute to the days when every man looked like a gentlemen. Great find! | ||||
| Great classy hat! (5/5) | Jan 21, 2009 | J. Arias | Banning CA US | |
| Great hat if you like the old style fedora. I've used it in cold and hot weather and it adapts well to both climates. The black fedora tends to show lint a little more, but a good hat brush should do. | ||||

I am seventy years old. I started wearing this style several months ago. My Dad always wore this style. He passed away in 1959. I don't believe I ever saw him outside without his hat. I love it, and have received many compliments. The ladies likes to feel it, and my wife lets them (usually) I also enjoyed doing business with Village Hat and will do more in the near future. Probably a Panama Straw this spring. |
