A man finds a great hat every 3 to 5 years, I believe. I'm in love. The Stetson Brewster is my new half-decade hat and I believe I'll wear it for much longer. It's my first fur-felt and the finest hat I've owned. It's reminiscent of the short-brimmed cowboy hat you might find on Paul Newman in "Butch Cassidy..." and has a sense of refinement to it as well. It's more of a light chocolate brown than the color depicted in the photo, but the classic lines are so good, I'd like it in either color and would possibly purchase both. The friendly staff including Addison, Lea, Anita, Storm and Mike (and anyone I've missed) will not rush you through the process of trying on 10 hats to find the right one. They appreciate a good hat as much as you do. THe subtle silver Stetson medallion on the side as well as the Stetson box only make it more of a gift to yourself or someone else. It does have a vintage look and yet it's brand new--the best of both worlds. Thank you very much...I will be back. |

| Well crafted, excellent quality, sits a little "high" on the head, and the interior crown height is somehow a little short. Its not quite a western style, but has a tinge of it, but not too much. All in all, a superior hat in an era of cheap, crushable (whose idea was that?) hats. The Roadster is breaking in nicely after about a week. I expect to be wearing this hat for the next ten years. | A well made hat; true quality in the Stetson tradition. I receive many compliments about the Roadster; a few friends are interested in buying a quality fedora, being a first time purchase in this style of hat. Customer service with Village Hat Shops are great folks to work with! | ||||

| I agree about the color. It is a lot darker than the picture illustrates. Not an issue for me. My size 7 was quite tight , but a day or two on the "Hat Jack" solved this issue. This is a top quality Stetson that looks and feels like a much more expensive hat would. One of my favorites at a GREAT price. | ||||
