My compliments to the village Hat Shop, for their prompt and courteous service regarding my dilemma about exchanging a recent purchase. I bought the "Golden Gate Godfather Hat" in white, and a little large. I am changing it for black and a better fit, to better suit my wardrobe. Prior to this, I bought a "Gangster Fedora". The "Fedora" brought me back to an era of the 30's and 40's. "Me", not usually being a hat person am enjoying my newfound persona. I wore the Fedora in an upcoming music video where I am a featured background player. The look works for me, and I will be adding other hats to my collection soon. It's fun to add a new dimension to my character. Thanks Village Hat Shop. |

| Size ran slightly small -- I'd consider adding 1/8 an inch to one's normal hat size when one orders. I'm actually between sizes, and some of my larger hat sizing is due to my full-bodied, curly hair, so even though the hat was a little tighter than most hats of the same size, it still fit me adequately. If I were the Village Hat Shop though, I'd add a comment to the description regarding that slightly smaller sizing. That said, the hat itself was wonderful, and I love that it came in lavender. I'm really pleased with the quality and color. | ||||
