Being that I'm a musician and the "porkpie" has always been associated with jazz and the state of cool, I HAD to get one. My hat arrived right on time for a gig I wanted to wear it for. I've worn it onstage a couple more times since then as well. Had no problems with the service from the site and the quality of the product is excellent! | Our son seems to be enjoying his pork pie hat. We took a great deal of time with the sizing instructions and ordered a medium. It looked like it belonged to a little kid--way too small! We ordered the next size up, a large, and it is really too large but he will keep it anyway, will stick something in the band so that it at least stays on. We compared the two hats side by side (the medium and large sizes) before we returned the medium to Village Hats--the difference is astounding!! Be ware.... | ||||

It's a beautiful hat but is sized wrong. I carefully measured my head at 23" even and ordered the "Large" hoping that it would not be too small. Large covers 22 5/8 - 23 " according to their charts. When I put on the hat, it fell to my ears! I would have returned the hat and asked for a medium but a previous buyer noted that the medium was sized too small. That hat does not come in my size which I suspect is a very common size. I decided to keep the hat and install some sizers. |
