Well, I'm about a month in to my Iconoclast experience and it's just getting better. I started out reblocking the crown to copy my original 1950 Stetson Whippet, and that went well, though I'm still hoping for about another inch of crown height when you come out with "Iconoclast II." About the first week of wear, I experienced the "wavy brim" issue that has been written about, because I wanted a traditional fedora brim — curled in the back and snapped in fromt. The front was no problem but that back curl — well it isn't happening. Then I reenforced the original crease to the back of the brim — just dampen the felt and work it with your fingers. It's a great way to develop that manly grip strenth. That brim took and it hasn't waived since. The felt just gets better feeling every time I wear it. This is a great addition to the working-man's hat collection. More to follow as the Iconoclast adventure continues. |

The hat came in the mail, I tried it on and immediately began the process of reblocking it to match my vintage 1950 Stetson Whippet. Now the Whippet will get saved for formal occasions and I can wear the Iconoclast for everyday. It took the reblocking well and makes for a good addition to my daily wear collection. If you plan an Iconoclast II in the future, adding another inch to the height of the crown would make it easier to block. Other than that, this is pretty much a perfect hat, especially for the price. |

Ordered it, got it reasonably fast. I like the hat. Before I found the site I'd been getting cowboy hats, which are stiffer and more prone to disfigurement. This hat is softer and more pliable and the bill provides just as much protection from rain, etc. as the cowboy hats. It is well made. I'm happy. |

This hat is a great hat, the quality is that of one costing much more. This hat hold up GREAT in the rain. I would compare it to a 4X felt hat. This is NOT one of those floppy wool hats that dont hold up or dont keep their shape. The only problem I have is, I want a black one now. |

| I received the hat and it was everything I was expecting. Friends liked it, too. I wore it to some friends' 50th birthday bash (husband & wife share same bday). Had many compliments on my hat. The hostess's daughter told me, "You have the most style of any man here. It's the hat that does it." There were about 200 guests. A few weeks later I wore it to my Class Reunion and had similar reactions from my old classmates. Some of the guys asked where I bought it and I proudly said, "Village Hat Shop dot com." I will definitely buy all my hats from you. | ||||

| I liked the style very much. It was a birthday gift for my husband and it arrived on time. I was disappointed in the quality of the material. There was visible hole in the felt and a couple of worn marks. It was a gift and I wanted in to be special. He ended up keeping it and doesn't seem to mind the imperfections. | ||||

| Just got my hat today and I am very happy with it. Felt quality is nice, styling is great, fit and feel are excellent! And it came exactly when promised. Village Hat Shop is a great place to do business with--I look forward to buying more of their hats in the future. | ||||
