| Style Sophistication Snazz (5/5) | Nov 15, 2007 | William Hall | Roswell GA US | |
| This hat is the epitome of style. This hat has a nice stiff hold of its shape, and stands up to the occasional sprits of rain. The wide brim works well for those trying to shade the face. So on that darkest of nights, only illuminated by the solo street lamp that you're leaning upon, this hat will keep your identity hidden up to the point when you raise the match to your mouth to light your pipe, and let the world know that you are unique. | ||||

| Very fine hat. A Great Bargain. (5/5) | Feb 17, 2009 | Tim Roach | St. Ann MO US | |
| This is a very high quality, very attractive hat. I think it's a better hat than the copyrighted ones that advertise movies. Also, the price is definitely right. Sizing is on the money. | ||||

| Great Rain Hat (4/5) | Jan 4, 2008 | Rod Beaumont | Tinsel Town CA US | |
| I've had mine for about 3 years and it's been through many a storm without leaking or losing its shape. It was on sale for under $50 when I got it, and well worth the price. The only sort of drawback is the plastic liner inside the crown. Silk or other fabric would have been preferred. | ||||

| I've had this hat for about 2 years now, and absolutely love it! It fits well, wears well and continues to look terrific. A wonderful value, it remains my favorite amongst all of the hats that I've owned. | ||||
| DOCTORS ORDERS (5/5) | Nov 22, 2007 | Ralph Kern | Tallahassee FL US | |

I am a carpenter and work outside a great deal. My doctor said to give up the baseball caps and wear a hat that would protect my neck and tops of my ears from the sun. Much sun in Tallahassee. I wear this hat every day, rain or shine. It holds it's shape well and the stiff brim is great to shade my eyes when driving. Thank you for helping me follow doctor's orders....with class. |

| Wonderful Classic Fedora (5/5) | Feb 11, 2008 | Phillip Fried | Baton Rouge LA US | |
| I the "The Iconoclast" to replace a crushable Jaxon that had served me well as a dress hat but is now being retired to everyday use. It is a great value at full price. A fully lined, hand made, 100% fur felt fedora for less than $70 is amazing. It looks even better than the photos indicate. Nice shape, just the right size brim, sharp profile and wears as comfortably as my crushable Jaxon. If I have to wear hats for protection they might as well look and feel good. This is sure to become my favorite. Only wish they also made it in dark grey for Sunday wear. | ||||

About me: I have many different hats, I wear one every day. I have had this hat for about a year now. The hat description says it's for the adventuresome type, and that's sort of true. I got compliments such as "cool Hat". But reality is that this hat has it's own character, you never know what the brim looks like. It has a "wavy" form, it won't ever have a Fedora line. And it will never have the same brim line. The 2 5/8 brim is also a bit big for my head. Bad news was that the hat size shrank after a some rain got in it. The good side: The hat has a certain fun factor, you will stick out. The felt feels great to the touch. I like that. The hat can take some abuse. People have sat on mine ;-) It's crushable, but once you "crushed" it, it will loose some form, it won't snap back completely. The hat is best if you want a hat that has a big brim and can be tossed around, takes abuse and if you don't care if one day it looks like this and the next a bit different. Get a size bigger, because it will shrink. Overall, this is what I recommend, if you want something adventureous, get the high end India Jones hat. If you want a Fedora, get a real Fedora. And as with any hat, try it on first, before you decide to keep it. VillageHatShop is great! |
