| I bought this hat and thought it was weather prof as I was told so at the store , After one rain the hat shrunk 2 sizes down and ripped in the back of the sweatband all the way through the hat . I'm now out $60 thanks allot Jackson for selling a peace of crap.......... I WANT A REFUND!!!!!!!! | ||||

| I purchased this hat as a Christmas present for a friend of mine who loves Indiana Jones. I managed to sneakily find out his hat size and it fit very good. Very fast shipping to Canada as well. Oh, and it looks awesome on my friend! I'm so very impressed with this hat and Village Hat Shop. | ||||

| This was my first experience with a fedora and I have to say it is wonderful. The Iconoclast is top quality,great fit and it gets lots of looks and compliments.I wear it for everyday use as well as going out, it just fits all occasions. | I've had mine for about 3 years and it's been through many a storm without leaking or losing its shape. It was on sale for under $50 when I got it, and well worth the price. The only sort of drawback is the plastic liner inside the crown. Silk or other fabric would have been preferred. | ||||

I bought this hat to reproduce the Indiana Jones hat from "Indiana Jones and the temple of doom". It is a perfect match in color and style all I had to do is wet the top of the crown and reshape the top I loosely pinched the front to the raiders look and it is dead on ! it is also a gret hat for the new indy movie "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"... It is a perfect hat for us Indiana Jones Fans !!!!!!! Thank you ! Michael |

About me: I have many different hats, I wear one every day. I have had this hat for about a year now. The hat description says it's for the adventuresome type, and that's sort of true. I got compliments such as "cool Hat". But reality is that this hat has it's own character, you never know what the brim looks like. It has a "wavy" form, it won't ever have a Fedora line. And it will never have the same brim line. The 2 5/8 brim is also a bit big for my head. Bad news was that the hat size shrank after a some rain got in it. The good side: The hat has a certain fun factor, you will stick out. The felt feels great to the touch. I like that. The hat can take some abuse. People have sat on mine ;-) It's crushable, but once you "crushed" it, it will loose some form, it won't snap back completely. The hat is best if you want a hat that has a big brim and can be tossed around, takes abuse and if you don't care if one day it looks like this and the next a bit different. Get a size bigger, because it will shrink. Overall, this is what I recommend, if you want something adventureous, get the high end India Jones hat. If you want a Fedora, get a real Fedora. And as with any hat, try it on first, before you decide to keep it. VillageHatShop is great! |
