| I ordered my grey Jaxon Detroit five years ago, and it has been my every day hat ever since. It looks great, wears comfortably, and gets frequent compliments. I've had more expensive hats that just weren't as good. If anything ever happens to my Detroit, I'll be replacing it with an identical one. | ||||

This hat looks and feels like it should cost twice as much as it does. The fur felt is beautiful. I initially ordered the black and like it so much I wasted no time ordering a grey to match! Truly a great value! |

| Jaxon hats (I have purchased 3) have all the quality of much more expensive hats without the price, I have been especially happy with the qualityof my detroit. I had it on it a heavy rain a couple of months ago and not only did the hat hold up, it looked barnd new a day later. I highly recommend this hat for an economical, stylish, and utilitarian hat that will get compliments. | ||||

| He looks good in hats, but in this hat he's a killer! Born and raised in New Mexico, this hat was not what he was expecting, but I'm from Detroit so, to me, this hat is everything a hat should be. I love to see him in it and I love to see heads turn as we walk by. Sadly, 6 7/8 is a lttle too large for him. | ||||

Other than the ridiculous international shipping cost which cannot be helped, this has been a great transaction. The hat arrived with a couple of minor defects [creasing in the band and an unfinished stitch], but the customer service provided by Village Hat Shop is second to none. They guided me through the process of straightening out the band, and the unfinished stitch was a quick fix. I was also unsure about the ribbon, as the one side is askew, but the customer service agent explained to me that this is the style with modern men's hats [which I've found is absolutely true after paying attention in Google searches]. I would have to say that I agree with a lot of the other reviewers regarding the actual colour as opposed to the appearance on the website. I ordered it in gray, and it is much darker, with a VERY SLIGHT tinge of green. The colour actually worked better for me, as it matches my trenchcoat. As for the size, I ordered it one size larger than my headsize [a suggestion from a couple of other reviewers], and in my case, it didn't seem to help. In future, I will be ordering in my exact size. This hat is of superb quality. The fur felt is thick [yet surprisingly cool to wear in the sun] and water resistant. The snap-brim stays curved up in the back and on the sides, and stays snapped down in the front. Just what I was looking for. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars for me is the fact that it costs $100, yet arrived with defects [however, minor]. I haven't heard of many other reviewers with this happening to them, so it seems as if it is a rare occurance. |

| Just received my Jaxon Detroit fedora. Quite pleased with the quality of this hat. The grey I received is darker than what is pictured in the image on the website, but I love the color. I am giving this hat only 4 stars because of the fit. One note for those of you with larger heads - I purchased this in a 7 5/8 (the largest size available when I bought it), and it seems to run a touch small. I am going to purchase the hat stretcher from this site to make it a slightly better fit. | ||||

| This is one of three hats I purchased for my friend for Christmas. Let's just say that I've been racking up some big brownie points with your hats. He absolutely loved it. This hat is classy, comfortable and the quality of the fabric is top notch. It looks great for any occasion. I will definitely be using your services again. You make me look good!!! | ||||

| The Detroit is a great hat that says "today" but can also transport you back to the Rat Pack days in style. I don't know how Jaxon Hats combines super quality with such a reasonable price, but keep up the good work! | ||||
