Have ordered many (5/5) Oct 5, 2011 Rocky Adams
I have ordered this hat every year for last 4 years and never had any complaints about it. . As for the color its just as you see here if you have your monitor color set correctly. I buy a new one every year because I wear it every day.
Defective Hat and... (4/5) Jul 9, 2011 John Doe NJ US
The hat I received was had a defective bow and came with out a hat brush or feather, but the hat itself was really nice.

stick to your right size... (4/5) Dec 15, 2010 Reggie We
I'm a 'tweener... not quite 7 1/2 and little a over 7 3/8. Wasn't certain what to do cause depending on different brands, every hat I try on is a little different when it comes to sizing. Spoke with Courtney on the phone and she recommended getting a 7 1/2 along with "sizers". She was right. Hat fits prefect. Love the classic C-Crown. My black Bogey is great.
Now come on Jaxon, let's see the same style in maybe navy, brown or camel. Man can't live with just one hat alone!
Outstanding Quality (5/5) Dec 6, 2010 Warren Stuttgart DE
After looking at everyone's reviews I decided to buy this hat and boy was I surprised. This hat is outstanding and the quality is way more than I expected. I absolutely love it and I can't wait to wear it out in public. This hat is so sharp that I'll be looking for another one like it in brown. I'm sold on the Jaxon product.
Very nice hat, but... (5/5) Nov 20, 2010 Hat wearer in NJ
A couple of things: Yes, the size on these does seem to run a bit small. I normally wear a 7 1/8", but ordered a 7 1/4", and the fit seems good. But it may FEEL a bit small because the fur felt is quite stiff - more like a cowboy hat than any fedora I've owned before (don't know what one of the other reviewers who said it wasn't stiff was talking about). So that lack of softness/flexibility may help account for it feeling smaller. Also, the photos on this site are a bit deceiving - the grey one is a much darker grey than what's shown here. Almost charcoal grey - not much difference between the color of the hat and the black ribbon. And don't expect that fancy feather shown - the actual thing is much more modest. Lastly, the crown is much more tapered than it looks on the site's photos. The true silhouette of the hat is more like the Stetson Chatham than say, an Indiana Jones hat. But I like it a lot, and the free hat brush I got with it is quite nice.
Beware...order 1 size larger! (5/5) Aug 29, 2010 Ashley Scott
Love the hat but I am an exact 7 3/8 and that is what I ordered...will have to send it back for a 7 1/2...in no way is it VHS' fault (I received what I ordered)...just should have paid a little more attention to the reviews.

Like some have said...this particular one runs about 1 size small if you order your normal size :(. I like to be able to bring a hat down to just above my ears when I want it tight or tilted, was impossible with my regular size I ordered in this hat. No worries though...they will gladly exchange it!

Just hoping I get as nice of a feather arrangement as I had with this one ;)
Bogey always classy (5/5) Aug 26, 2010 NickyMirrors San Francisco CA US
a frank for your thoughts. in America they only cost a penny and that's about all they are worth. -Casablanca.

i own this hat in both the black and the gray. they are wonderful hats, and you cant beat the price. i did however like the black better. something with the gray its never stiff enough and doesn't have that snap in the brim. would i buy it again, you better believe it.
Classic Style (5/5) Aug 26, 2010 Dave Chicago Il US
I live in chicago and wear a suit to work. Every day. In the winter here a hat is de rigueur. This is the perfect hat to compliment a suit with or without over-coat. It is the classic C-crown fedora. Think more Phillip Marlowe than Dr. Jones more Bob Mitchum than Don Draper. Im 6' 250lbs and the small snap brim "Sinatra" Fedoras that are gaining popularity now dont look quite right on a man of my frame either, so this hat is perfect. Oh... get used to being called "Sir"...
